Introduction to the Featured Items Block

The Featured Items Block lets you highlight your most important content, products, people, or features directly on your homepage or any sunpage of your SupaPass site.

You can use it to promote or display:
🎧 Content - such as featured podcasts, videos, or articles
💸 Products - like subscriptions or one-time purchases
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 People - team members, hosts, or collaborators
💡 Features - list your platform’s main benefits or selling points
💰 Price plans - visually showcase your offers or tiers

This block is highly flexible and looks great in all these use cases and more!

Where to Find the Featured Items Block

The Featured items block is one of the options you can select to build out your page. Even if you have selected a template you always add a new page block or you can just edit a block that is part of the template.

  1. Go to your SupaPass Dashboard

  2. Click Builder

  3. Select your Page

  4. Click Add Page Block

  5. Choose Featured Items Block

  6. Start the configuration of the block by adding the items in the sub heading Featured Items

You can add up to 10 items in this block by clicking Add Item.
Each item can include an image, title, subtitle, description, and link.

You can create manual items or display your existing SupaPass content automatically.

💡 Good to know Dynamic content automatically refreshes whenever you publish new items. Static content will stay fixed and only show what you initially selected.

We recommend to use Manual Items for bios, feature highlights, or external links. and to use Static or Dynamic Content for your published content.

In one Featured Items block you cannot mix Manual, Static or Dynamic content. Once you've selected the type from the dropdown only one can be used for that block.

Adding Dynamic Content

Dynamic Content will automatically update if you publish new content in the list you selected. Select Dynamic Content from the dropdown menu. Dynamic content shows the items on content level, after selecting the list you want to showcase.

You will not see a preview until you have saved the block.

  1. Select the type of content you want to showcase - Audio, Video or Article

  2. Select the list from the dropdown the content lives under. Make sure your list is published.

  3. Select the number of content items you want to show and select the display order

  4. Use the toggles to select what information you'd like to show from each content item

Adding Static Content

Static Content will not update the pieces of content that you selected. It will show exactly the content that you specifically selected for this block. Select Static Content from the dropdown menu. Static Content allows you to choose which level of content you want to showcase - a list or a piece of content or you can base it of a particular product you are selling. You will not see a preview until you have saved the block.

  1. Select the item you want to showcase

  2. Select the Content Type

  3. Depending on what you've chosen from the drop down it will ask for different information. As long as your product, list or content is published, it will show in the dropdown and you can select it.

How to use Static Items - A use case example

💡 Listing Features or Price Plans

You can also use the block to display:

  • Key features, with icons and short descriptions

  • Different price plans, each with a title, summary, and purchase link

📘 Example Uses:

  • A “Why Choose Us” feature list

  • A “Subscription Plans” section linked to product access pages

Adding Manual Items

  1. Select from the dropdown Manual items

  2. Then click on Add Manual Item.

    This will immediately add a preview item on the right preview window.

  3. You can now fill in the information you want to add. The preview will automatically adjust based on the info you add. You can add Subtitle, Heading, Body, a CTA button and an Image. Note that for Manual item the image is compulsory. If you do not add an image, the preview image will show. Images can be uploaded from your device or added from the media library.

  4. Once everything has been entered, you click on Done. to add another Manual item, you click again on Add Manual Item

Tip Want to make the item hyperlinked without a CTA button? add the URL in the button link and then slide the toggle off. This will hyperlink the image and your audience will be able to click on it.

How to use the Manual items - a use case example

👥 Showcasing People or Teams

You can use the Featured Items Block to create a People section.
Add each person as a separate item and include:

  • A photo

  • Name and role

  • A short bio or description

  • A link to their profile, website, or contact info

Perfect for showcasing your team, podcast hosts, or board members.
You can feature up to 10 people.

💾 Saving and Previewing

When your items are ready:

  1. Click Save in the Builder

  2. Preview your page to see how your Featured Items appear

  3. Test each link to confirm it leads to the correct page or product

Can I link to both a Product and a List?

Yes, depending on what option you choose. You can link to a product via Static Content or using Manual items. You can link to a list using any of the options

How many items can I add?

You can add up to 10 items in one Featured Items Block.
