The YouTube Import feature allows you to connect your YouTube channel to SupaPass and import your videos so they can be organized into Sections and Lists using the Content Layout screen.
Once imported, your YouTube content can be freely reorganized, reordered, and combined with other content types to create the experience you want for your audience.

Get Started with YouTube Import
From your SupaPass dashboard, click Import in the left-side panel.
Select the YouTube tab.
If this is your first time using YouTube Import, click Import New YouTube Channel.
You’ll be guided through a setup flow to connect your YouTube account.
Follow the Google permissions prompt to grant read-only access to your YouTube content.
Good To Know💡 SupaPass can view your videos and playlists but cannot edit or delete anything on your YouTube account.
If your YouTube login has access to multiple YouTube channels, you’ll be able to choose which channel(s) you want to import.
Import Your YouTube Videos
Once connected, you can choose how your content is imported.
You can either:
Import all channel videos, or
Customize Import to control exactly what gets imported
Importing all channel videos includes all public videos. Unlisted videos are handled separately (see below).
Customize Import Options
When you choose Customize Import, you’ll see the following options:
All Videos
Toggle on if you want to import all your videos.
Live Videos
Toggle on if you want to import your recordings of live streams.
All Shorts
Toggle on if you want to import all your shorts.
All Playlists
Toggle on if you want to import all your playlists.
If you toggle this option off, you will get the option to manually select which playlists you want to add by selecting or deselecting the tick boxes.
Unlisted videos
You can choose how unlisted videos are handled:
Add all existing and future unlisted videos (recommended), or
Add unlisted videos manually each time
Your imported videos will now be available for use when building your content experience.
Set access to your Imported Content
Once your YouTube channel is selected, you’ll choose how your imported content can be accessed:
Make all videos free
Videos are available to watch without login. If you opt for this the screen will move to a summary screen and then you can import.Customize access
Choose whether content requires registration or a paid subscription. If you choose to customize access you get the option between the different access options that SupaPass offers. Find out more here
If you select Paid Subscription, you can assign existing products or create a new product during setup.
After reviewing the summary screen, click Save & Start Import to begin importing your content.
Where Imported Content Appears
You will see your imported channel in the YouTube tab of the Import screen now
You can click on the 3 dots menu to make edits to the options you selected before.
Curate Your Imported Content
After importing your playlists and videos, you can use them to build structured content inside your app or site using Content Layout.
After import:
A new Section is automatically created in Content Layout named:
YouTube – [Your YouTube Channel Name]Each imported playlist is added as a separate List inside that Section.
This is only the starting point. You can:
Rename the Section and Lists
Move or add Lists to other Sections
Reorder videos using drag-and-drop
Combine YouTube content with other videos you host on SupaPass in one list.
Adjust access settings per video or remove videos you no longer want to include.

Once you save the screen, the updates will show immediately on your app and website.
Good To Know 💡Changes you make to the videos in SupaPass will not affect the videos in YouTube
Edit or Update Imported Content
If you enabled automatic imports, new videos will be added automatically over time.
You can also manually update your content:
Go to Import → YouTube
Click Sync Now to check for new videos immediately
Removing Imported Content
Removing imported playlists or channels from the YouTube Import screen:
Does not delete videos from YouTube
May affect Sections or Lists that rely on that content
Always review your Content Layout before removing imported content

No. SupaPass only has read-only access. It can view your videos and playlists but cannot edit, delete, or manage your YouTube channel.

Imports run in the background and may take a few minutes to complete, depending on the size of your channel.
If there’s an issue during import, you’ll see an error message in the YouTube Import screen explaining what went wrong.
