How to use standard Call to Action Slugs to guide your audience to subpages

Use our built-in slugs for buttons, links, and other call-to-action (CTA) elements to direct users to key pages on your platform.

Updated today

Your SupaPass site comes with built-in slugs that you can use in buttons, links, and other call-to-action (CTA) elements to direct users to key pages on your platform. These slugs help you easily guide your audience to take important actions - like signing up, logging in, or accessing your product page.

What is a Slug?

A slug is the part of a URL that comes after your domain name.
For example, if your website is:

https://yourbrand.supapass.app

...then a slug like /register would take users to:

https://yourbrand.supapass.app/register

You can use these slugs in buttons on landing page, Items in your header or footer menus and hyperlinks in copy of your articles.

How to Use These Slugs

Option 1: Add to a Button

When editing a button on your landing page in the builder:

  1. Open the Builder under Site & App

  2. Navigate to the Blocks.

  3. Click on the block where you want to edit the button and navige to the Buttons section , click on it to open

  4. Click on Ádd Button to add a new button or click on the pencil to edit an existing button.

  5. In the Button Link field, paste the slug (e.g. /register). For these native slugs, there's no need to paste the full URL. just the slug will work.

  6. Click Save Block. The changes will take 5 minutes before it will show on your website. You can click preview in the top right corner to test out the Call To Action Button.

Option 2: Add to a Menu

We've created detailed guides on how to setup your menu (header) and footer menus. Check them out to find further instructions on how to add your slugs as call to actions.

Option 3: Use in Text Links in your Articles content

When editing or creating a new article, you can hyperlink a part of the text in the article body. In a text block or rich content area:

  • Highlight the text you want to link.

  • In the editor bar, click on the link symbol to create the hyperlink

  • Insert a hyperlink by adding the full URL (including https://)

Tips

  • Slugs are case-sensitive, so use lowercase exactly as shown.

  • These slugs only work on your own site domain (e.g., yourbrand.supapass.app).

  • You can combine slugs with buttons and banners to drive actions during a promotion or campaign.
