Submitting Apps: Answering App Privacy Questions

We've streamlined the app submission process to be as frictionless as possible, including standardized App Privacy responses from years of experience submitting to the stores. We still need you to answer a few questions before we can submit, and you can use this guide to answer them.

If you don't have App Menu Links in your app, the process is simple. Simply answer 'No' to all of the questions. If you do have App Menu Links, please read the next section carefully.

You can use App Menu Links to direct users to external urls from within the app. The applications of these links are very broad and may not collect any data (for example, a link to download supplementary material). Links that collect information, such as booking links or external purchases, do need to be declared here.

For each link, you'll need to answer 'Yes' or 'No' depending on whether the information you're collecting would create a profile or user profile for the customer. Be sure to check all boxes that apply.

Once you have answered all the questions, click 'Submit' and we'll take care of the rest!

If you collect phone numbers or physical addresses you'll need to declare using the 'Yes' or 'No' options. 'Other User Contact Info' is any contact information not covered by Email, Phone Number or Physical Address. e.g. Social Media Handles

This needs to be declared if you use the App Menu Links to facilitate purchases outside of the app e.g. a paid booking link. External purchasing is only allowed in limited circumstances, if you're unsure whether this applies please contact us for more information.

Select this if you collect credit information and any other financial information such as salary, income, assets, debts, or any other financial information.

If you collect any of the sensitive information types listed please declare them in this section.

You should declare if you collect any Health or Fitness information via an App Menu Link. Please note, we do not connect to Apple or Google's Fitness APIs and so do not collect this information from the user's device.
