App Menu Links can be modified in many of the same ways as Website links but with a few key differences.
❗️Warning: When making changes to the App Menu Links you will need to review and resubmit the App Privacy responses.
Automatic links
Automatic links appear on your apps by default whenever you have published content of that type. You can rename or hide the automatic links.
External links - The 'More' tab
Previously only available by request, we've integrated the 'More' tab into the SupaPass builder so that you can update these links at any time. The links section can be renamed according to your needs and appears as an additional menu item Home Tab of the app beneath the content links.
Each link should have a Name, a Link Destination (URL) and be associated with a Product. The product determines whether a user has access to that content, so if you want a link to be a perk of subscription (for example, a referral link to your member only discord server) then you would associate it with the relevant paid product. Other links that generate additional business should generally be free, for example a link to book a sales call.
Compliance
When adding external links to your apps you need to ensure that your apps remain compliant with the Apple App Store Review Guidelines and Google Developer Content Policy.
External sales
Links can be used to sell external products in some circumstances, for example:
Person-to-Person Services - these are real time services between two people, for example online tutoring or consultations. One to few or one to many services don't count and must use an in-app purchase.
External Goods and Services - these are for goods and services that are consumed outside the app, for example merchandise.
It is not acceptable to link to your SupaPass store or anywhere else selling content that could be purchased in the app, doing so will result in the rejection of your submission and may result in sanctions against your account.
Update Legal & Privacy responses
When you add external links to your app you will need to resubmit your Legal & Privacy form for review. The default answers for SupaPass apps without App Menu Links are "No", however you should consider whether you are now collecting this information with your new links.
