Introduction
Setting up your apps should only take a few hours of your time, however there will be some waiting periods where your account may need to be approved or your app is in review. Set aside time to register your app developer accounts as soon as possible to avoid delays to the release of your app, don't wait until completing your website to register!
Why?
To submit an app, you must have a registered developer account with Apple and Google.
What to Do:
Register for Apple Developer and Google Play Developeraccounts as early as possible.
The registration process itself is quick, but Apple’s DUNS number approval can take over a week.
Do not wait until your website is complete—set up accounts early to avoid launch delays.
Steps to set up your apps in SupaPass
Why?
Your developer accounts must be linked to SupaPass for making the build happen, automation and push notifications.
What to Do:
Once your accounts are approved, connect them to SupaPass, this only takes a few minutes for each account.
After connecting one account, link Firebase to enable push notifications.
Step 2 is essential for SupaPass to work its magic✨ and build your app for you!
Step 3: Prepare your apps for submission
Why?
To avoid delays, prepare essential elements before submission.
What to Do:
Write store listing copy (app descriptions, keywords, and promotional text).
Create graphic assets such as app icons, screenshots, and promotional banners.
Check that App Store Agreements and Privacy Policies are up to date before submitting a build.
Step 4: Submit a build before setting pricing
Why?
Pricing cannot be set in Apple or Google Play until an initial build has been submitted. For the initial build we need the MetaData, Graphics, Agreements, Privacy & Legal and Screenshots
What to Do:
First Submission: Submit a build or a preview version before setting pricing.
Once the build is submitted, you can set your pricing plans.
You should check that your App Store Agreements are up to date each time you submit a build, especially on the first submission where it may delay the launch of your app.
Step 5: Set Mobile Pricing Plans & Submit for Review
Why?
Pricing must be set after your initial build is submitted.
What to Do:
Add mobile pricing plans to your products.
Submit your app for review.
The review process can take several days to weeks, so submit early.
Content updates do not require resubmission; apps will automatically update with new content.
Final Notes
For future updates, metadata will be uploaded automatically.
Delays in app approval are often due to missing information or incorrectly configured settings. The SupaPass team will keep you updated along the way or you can always reach out via chat💬 to find out more.

Good news! Content updates do not require resubmission; apps will automatically update with new content
