Steps to set up your website

Everything starts with your website. Follow these 6 steps to set up your website.

Updated over a week ago

Setting up your SupaPass website is easy and requires just 6 steps to complete. This can take as little as 10 minutes to a couple of hours depending on your SupaPass plan and the complexity of your website.

The 6 Steps to set up your website

Follow these 6 steps to design, curate and launch your website.

Step 1: Design your landing page and set your site branding

Use our Builder to create the landing page, this is the first page visitors to your site will see and should encourage them to engage with your product. You should also use the branding settings to determine the appearance of your website colors, buttons and branding images. This process can take as little as 10 minutes or up to a couple of hours and, once complete, the website will truly feel like your own.

Step 2: Decide the access level for your content using products

Access to content is determined by which product the content is part of, this includes free content. Your website starts with two products; free without login and free with login, and all content is added to these by default. Subscribers to Paid SupaPass plans can also add paid products and secret products, these should be set up before adding content. You can read more about the types of access here.

Step 3: Upload your content and curate it into sections and lists.

There are several options to upload your content to SupaPass, this can take as little as 30 seconds if you only have a podcast RSS feed or a few hours to upload 100 videos. Once uploaded you'll need to organize content items into Lists and Sections. Now you have all your content in one place!

Note

Do you have lots of content not from an RSS feed? We have a service that can help you upload large collections of files. Please email success@supapass.com for more information.

Step 4: Add Pricing

It only takes a few minutes to set up pricing to collect payments from your website. Follow these steps to link your Stripe account and add pricing.

Step 5: Set up Comments

It takes just a few seconds to configure your comment settings. Read about how to turn on comments for paid/secret or free products here.

Step 6: Publish your website

When you're ready to publish your website, you'll need to connect it to a domain. You can connect to your own custom domain, or use a free SupaPass domain. Connecting your domain takes a couple of minutes (but may take 24-48 hours to see the change), so if you only have a podcast you can finish all 6 steps to launch your website in less than an hour.
