Reducing Google Play Store Subscription Fees

Google's default commission fee for in-app subscriptions is 30%. This fee rate is notably higher than the fees charged by Stripe and other payment processing companies. However, if you meet the criteria for Google's 15% Service Fee Tier then you can cut your fees in half, putting more money in your pocket.

How to Reduce Your Subscriptions Fees to 15%

To reduce your subscription fees to 15%, you should follow the instructions in this article:

This article outlines the criteria you need to meet in order to qualify for the 15% Service Fee Tier. Make sure that you read all of the instructions carefully as failure to do so may result in the loss of the discount.

Associated Developer Accounts (ADAs)

For the purposes of fee reduction, please do not add SupaPass to your Google Play Store Account Group. This is because we do not meet the criteria of an Associated Developer Account (ADA) as outlined here. Inviting our account as an ADA may also result in your app being ineligible for the fee reduction.
