Updates to RSS feeds
How often do RSS feeds update?
Our RSS import system uses an adaptive sync approach.
It automatically learns how frequently you publish new content and adjusts how often it checks your feed:
Active publishers are checked more frequently, especially around new releases.
Less active feeds are checked less often over time.
As a general guide:
HOT feeds: every 5–10 minutes
WARM feeds: every 30–180 minutes
COLD feeds: up to once every 12 hours
These intervals adjust gradually based on your publishing activity.
Why hasn't my RSS feed updated yet?
There are a few common reasons:
Your RSS host may take time to syndicate new episodes to external platforms.
The time since your feed was last updated affects how often it’s checked (see How often do RSS feeds update?).
If you want to update sooner, you can manually trigger a check by clicking the Sync button.
My RSS feed shows an error message, what should I do?
If you see an error:
Contact our support team via the chat💬Include the following information:
The error reference
The name of the RSS feed
This helps us diagnose the issue faster.
My episodes haven't synced for more than a day, should I press sync?
If episodes haven’t appeared within a few hours, there may be an issue with your RSS host.
How syncing works in this situation:
If repeated sync requests don’t receive a response, we automatically reduce checks to once per day.
What to do:
Press Sync once.
Wait 15 minutes.
If new episodes still don’t appear, contact support via the chat💬 for help. Make sure to include the name of the RSS feed.
There are duplicate episodes in my feed, how do I fix this?
Try the following first:
Press Sync once.
Wait 15 minutes to see if the duplicates resolve.
If duplicates are still visible after syncing, please contact support via chat💬 so we can investigate further.
