Connect your contact form to your CRM

To set up integrations you'll need a paid SupaPass plan,

Updated over a year ago

Note

This integration requires:

  • A paid SupaPass plan, contact us to discuss an upgrade!

  • A Zapier account, their free tier includes 100 tasks per month and 5 zaps, this is enough for most starter use cases but you can find more about their pricing plans here.

Set up the SupaPass Trigger

  1. Click the 'Create Zap' button in your Zapier account.

  2. Choose 'SupaPass' as the Trigger app and set the trigger as 'New Or Updated Contact'.

  3. Name the Zap something appropriate like "SupaPass Contact Form to [CRM Name]".

  4. Set ‘Receive historic data on first Trigger’ to true if you only have a few contacts. If you have more than 15, consider using a csv export from SupaPass first and set this to ‘false’. Click 'Continue'.

  5. Click the 'Test Connection' button and then continue.

Set Up The Action To Your CRM of Choice

You will now need to set up the action using your CRM of choice. This example uses Mailchimp, but the steps will be similar for other CRMs.

  1. Select your CRM.

  2. Select ‘Add/Update subscriber’.

  3. Choose your connected CRM account.

  4. Set the Audience to your default audience.

  5. In the 'Subscriber Email' field, select the email input from the dropdown list.

  6. Customise the Double Opt-in, Update existing and replace groups, groups and language code according to your own preferences, or leave blank.

  7. Click in the 'Tag(s)' field, select the custom tab and then ‘Show all options’, select ‘Campaign Reference’. This will add the Contact Form tag to the user record so that you can create separate segments based on this group.

  8. In the 'First Name' and 'Last Name' fields, add the matching Data Inserts.

  9. Leave the remaining fields blank and click the ‘Continue’ button.

  10. Click ‘Test and Continue’ and the test data should be sent to your CRM.

Top Tip

If you’ve previously run a Zap using SupaPass test data it will update the record for a_sample_user2@supapass.com
