The App Screen Builder empowers you to design and customize your App's Screens!
🏆 This means you can tailor your app experience for your audience, and drive their user journey so that they see exactly what you think is important, in the order you'd like them to see it.
📱 The App Screen Builder is inspired by Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple, Spotify style layouts, so you can build pretty much any featured content layout you want!
We recommend you start with your Home Screen. This is the most important screen in your App.
This is the first thing your audience sees when they open your app. Instead of our default layout, you can arrange promo bar, carousels, featured content, lists and more to make your app feel completely yours.
This guide covers where to find it, how to build a screen, and how publishing works.
Where to find it
In your dashboard, go to Design → App → Screen Builder. It works much like the website page editor, so it'll feel familiar. Click in to see the screens available for your app.
Creating a screen
Click the + button to create a new app screen.
Give your screen a name (e.g Home New), then click Create.
Your new screen is created as a Draft, with no blocks added yet.
Add blocks to design your layout.
For a full breakdown of every block and what it can do, see App Screen Builder blocks explained
Good To Know 👉 As long as your App Screen is in draft status, it will not show to your audience. Once you publish the screen, it will automatically update, without needing a new app build. Your users will see the new screen when they access the app.
Draft, Live, and App Home
Every screen has a status, shown as a small colored label:
Draft (orange): only you can see it. It won't show in your app until you publish it.
Live (green): published and visible to your audience.
App Home (grey): the screen your audience lands on when they open your app.
To publish a screen, click the three-dots settings button in the page, then click Publish.
Your app updates dynamically, with no new app build required, so your changes appear for your audience within a few minutes.
You can unpublish or keep editing at any time. While a screen is in Draft, you're free to design and preview it without anything changing for your audience.
The building blocks (at a glance)
Mix and match these to build your screen:
Showcase
Hero Carousel, Content Spotlight, Auto Carousel, Curated Carousel, List, Ranking.
Essentials
Recently Viewed, Latest, Navigation.
Promote
Promo Bar, Countdown, Quotes, Image & Text, Text Only.
Each one is covered in detail, with its settings and best uses, in App Screen Builder blocks explained.
Previewing your screen
As you build, use the preview to see how your screen will look before you publish. For blocks that hold multiple items, such as Quotes and the carousels, the preview shows the first item - via the configuration panel you can click on the next item you created; the full set appears in your app once published.
Light / Dark Theme
The preview also gives you the possibility to see the app in either Light or Dark theme mode.
The Preview is an approximate layout guide. Final appearance can vary by platform. iOS and Android apply their own OS styling, spacing, typography, and interaction behavior.
